What is Hinduism?- Hinduism is a major world religion originating on the Indian subcontinent.
What did the Early Hindus Believe?- Hinduism is an Indian religion and dharma, or way of life. Hindus began to emphasize the worship of deities, especially Vishnu. The concept of dharma was introduced in new texts, and other faiths, such as Buddhism and Jainism, spread rapidly.
What is Karma?- (in Hinduism and Buddhism) the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.
Why was Buddhism Developed?- Buddhism, a major world religion, founded in northeastern India. It was formed by the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, who is known as the Buddha.
Who is the Buddha?- The Buddha, or "enlightened one," was born Siddhartha (which means "he who achieves his aim").
